Privacy Policy — PreSign

1. What we collect

We collect your email address and name when you create an account. When you upload a contract for analysis, the document is stored encrypted in your personal vault. We also collect basic usage logs (analysis counts, plan tier) to operate the service.

2. How your contract data is handled

Contract documents are stored encrypted at rest in Supabase. Your contracts are never used to train AI models. No PreSign employee can read your contract content — access is scoped to your user account only. You can delete any contract or your entire account at any time, which permanently removes all associated data.

3. AI processing

Contract text is sent to our AI inference provider solely for the purpose of generating your risk analysis. This text is not stored by the AI provider beyond the duration of the request. We use providers who have agreed to data processing terms consistent with GDPR requirements.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies required for authentication. We may use privacy-respecting analytics (no personal identifiers) to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the product.

5. GDPR and data rights

If you are in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@presign.app. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Deleted contracts are removed immediately. If you close your account, all personal data is deleted within 30 days.
